DESCRIPTION:Trapline Check Sundays\nBeginning February 9 • Meet at TH Hall • 10:00 am\nCitizens and families are welcome to join us as we head out to our traplines to check our harvest. We will travel via snow machine and be out for a full 7.5 hour day on the land. Participants should have their own snow machine and be prepared for back country travel. This includes packing gear\, appropriate clothing\, emergency supplies and food (a suggested packing list is available upon request; we will provide some snacks and light equipment.) Our team can supply a limited number of participants with snow machine rides to the trapline area. (yes\, you!)\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Plan will represent a shared vision for fish\, wildlife\, and habitat management over a five-year period within the TH Traditional Territory (TT).\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Community-Based Fish and Wildlife Work Plan (CBFWWP) is a collaboration between Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin (TH)\, Yukon Government (YG)\, the Dawson District Renewable Resources Council (DDRRC)\, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). The four Parties collectively agree to defined objectives\, after you help us determine community priorities related to fish and wildlife.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Dawson District Renewable Resource Council is also gathering information for this work plan with a SURVEY.
