DESCRIPTION:🌿Reconnection Camp will be held June 15-19\, 2025! 🌿\n\n\nJoin the Reconnection Camp at Nänkäk Chèholay\, a plant medicine making and harvesting learning camp\, in collaboration with Gu Nähtstey.\n\n\n \n\n\nThis camp is jam packed with learning opportunities and quality time on the land!\n\n\nThe schedule is as follows:\n\n\n \n\n\nJune 15- Afternoon activities with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì’ team.\n\n\n3:00 – 7:00 pm: camp set up\, dinner and fishing.\n\n\n \n\n\nJune 16- 1:00 am – 4:00 pm: plant medicine workshops and plant walks.\n\n\n \n\n\nJune 17- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Harvesting and nature walk in Tombstone Park (Tombstone Tuesday).\n\n\n7:00 – 9:00 pm: medicine bag making with Margie Kormendy.\n\n\n \n\n\nJune 18- 1:00 am – 5:00 pm: Plant harvesting and medicine making\, Itsu making with Donald Robert\, plant crafts with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì’ team and spruce root harvesting with Faye Chamberlain.\n\n\n7:00 – 9:00 pm: women’s health workshop with Fran Morberg-Green.\n\n\n \n\n\nJune 19- Camp pack up.\n\n\n \n\n\nIn addition:\n\n\n🔥Evening sweats will be provided in collaboration with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì team .\n\n\n⚽️Childrens activities and support provided by CPNP and Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì team on Wednesday\, June 18.\n\n\n🍎A wellness tent and activities will be provided through the Dawson Community Health Centre.\n\n\n \n\n\nIf you would like to reserve a cabin\, please email Katie.English@trondek.ca.
