DESCRIPTION:Niyajè chʼonkʼą̈̀ zhìt hänjit tr’ädäl\n(We walk for our sisters in spirit)\nIn honour of MMIWG2S+\, and Indigenous strength and resilience\, we invite all community members to join us on Friday\, October 4 for our annual Sisters in Spirit Walk and Vigil. \nThe Sacred Fire will be lit at 8am and the opening ceremony with prayer\, smudging and candle lighting will begin at 10am at the Dawson RCMP Detachment. We will then walk to the Dänojà’ Zho Cultural Centre where you can give offerings and prayer to the Scared Fire. There will be a few speakers and anyone attending can have the opportunity to speak if they wish. Community Lunch will end the proceedings at 12pm. \nWe hope to see you there.
