DESCRIPTION:📜Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Citizens are invited to join us for the latest in our series of Citizen workshops on the new draft policy for the TH Housing Rental Policy. This will take place on Saturday\, Novermber 30\, 2024 from 9:00a m to 4:30 pm in Äłät Nëhëjël. Lunch and Snacks will be provided.\n\n\n \n\n\nOur agenda for the day is as follows\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n9:00 am: Opening Prayer and welcome\n\n\n \n\n\n9:30 am: Discussion of how general laws are applicable to TH\, from federal to City bylaws.\n\n\n \n\n\n10:30 am: Section-by-section review of the draft policy\, with feedback and recommendations from Citizens.\n\n\n \n\n\n12:00 pm: Lunch break\n\n\n \n\n\n1:00 pm: Ongoing discussion of the draft policy\n\n\n \n\n\n3:30 pm Discussion: What is affordable housing and how do we ensure it is available to Citizens today.\n\n\n \n\n\n4:30 pm – Closing Remarks\n\n\n \n\n\n.\n\n\n🙋For those who cannot attend in person\, you can also participate throughout the day via Zoom and contribute your thoughts.\n\n\n \n\n\nZoom link\n\n\n \n\n\nMeeting ID 842 9263 3280 \n\n\n \n\n\nCitizens can review the draft policy here: \n\n\n \n\n\n.\n\n\nFor more information prior to the event contact: Peter.Marangu@trondek.ca or Robert.Close@trondek.ca.
