DESCRIPTION:Drin Jëjik (Moose Day)\nThursday\, February 27 • 5:00 pm (Elders’ Tea 3:30 pm) • DZCC\nThe Dawson District Renewable Resources Council\, Yukon Government and Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Fish and Wildlife staff invite you to Drin Jëjik\, a gathering for sharing stories and information about moose. Everyone is welcome to come hear population status updates and culturally informed research\, as well as participate in discussions around stewarding our harvest and hunter education. There will also be space for general moose-related discussions\, storytelling\, and more. There will be an Elders’ tea at 3:30 pm and a public session starting at 5:00 pm. Coffee\, tea and snacks will be provided.
