SUMMARY:International Overdose Awareness Day
DESCRIPTION:International Overdose Awareness Day is on Monday\, August 31. \nJoin us as we gather to support the fighters\, admire the survivors and honor those who have been taken too soon.\n\n\nWe encourage community to wear purple in honor of the day and to raise awareness.\n\n\nThe schedule of events at the Chief John Jonas Centre is as follows:\n\n\n9:00- 11:00 am\nMorning tea\, coffee and bannock\n\n\n11:00 am -1:00 pm\nFree community BBQ\n\n\n12:00 – 2:00 pm\nOverdose and Naloxone Training with Des Rioux\, Mental Health Nurse\n\n\n5:00 pm – 12:00 am\nThe Community Outreach Vehicle will be in operation.\n\n\nA heart garden will also be set up at the CJJC to honor those we’ve lost.\n\n\nFor more information\, contact Krystal Titus\nE: krystal.titus@trondek.ca P: (867) 993-3639\n\n\nŁëk’ä̀nä̀hcha – We take care of each other.
