DESCRIPTION:Let’s talk about IPCAs! \n\n\nIPCA stands for Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas.\nIPCAs are places identified by Indigenous Nations for conservation. They are Indigenous lead\, long term commitments and are important in elevating Indigenous rights and responsibilities.\nIPCAs are an expression of Indigenous Nationhood \n\n\nJoin us for conversation and knowledge sharing about conservation and IPCAs on Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Traditional Territory.\nWe will meet April 15 – 16 at Nänkäk Chèholay.\nThere will be guest presenters and campfire style discussions.\n\n\nPlease register by emailing:\nanna.claxton@trondek.ca or donna.michon@trondek.ca\nor call (867) 993-7100 ext. 247\n\n\nCabin space is limited and there will be rides out everyday.
