This will be a traditional sweat ceremony that is open to all genders, lasting 3-4 hours. The rest of our time will be spend in preparation, meditation, and doing cleanup. It is open to all community members.
Participants should wear light, breathable cotton clothing such as plain [no logo] t-shirts, shorts, light pants, nightgowns, or long skirts. Bring a towel and sandals.
Avoid synthetic fabrics, as they can trap heat and are less comfortable in the lodge.
It is strongly advised to register beforehand for a cabin, as space is limited.
Book with the Community Outreach Wellness Worker in person at room 217 at the Chief John Jonas Centre, email community.outreach@trondek.ca or text/call (867) 993-3639.
