The Gordon Foundation is excited to announce the 8th National Treaty Simulation — bringing together emerging Indigenous leaders ahead of the 2026 Leadership Meetings.
We are looking for one (1) Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin Citizen aged 18-35 to participate in the 2026 Treaty Simulation. This unique 2.5-day event (February 6–8, 2026) will give you the chance to experience what it’s like to negotiate and implement Land Claims and Self-Government Agreements. Guided by advisors and mentors, youth build their skills, confidence, and connections for future leadership.

Each year brings a new theme. Past topics have included wildlife co-management, self-government, Inuit Impact Benefit Agreements, and lands management — and we can’t wait to explore what’s next. To read more about what this entails, information is available here
