Part of the Land, Part of the Water: Indigenous Interpretation and Storytelling Training with Amber Berard-Althouse is coming up in October!
This training will take place at Nänkäk Ch’èhǫ̀ląy (Land of Plenty) on October 7 and 8, 2026.
Transportation and meals will be provided, and participants are welcome to stay and camp or come for the day.
About the course:
This course is designed for First Nations People who want to strengthen their skills in storytelling, guiding, and sharing culture and place with others. The program focuses on how to communicate knowledge in engaging and meaningful ways – through tours, cultural programs, education, or community work. This training is especially valuable for those interested in heritage work, tourism, cultural education, or storytelling and interpretation.
