🌿Reconnection Camp will be held June 15-19, 2025! 🌿
Join the Reconnection Camp at Nänkäk Chèholay, a plant medicine making and harvesting learning camp, in collaboration with Gu Nähtstey.
This camp is jam packed with learning opportunities and quality time on the land!
The schedule is as follows:
June 15- Afternoon activities with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì’ team.
3:00 – 7:00 pm: camp set up, dinner and fishing.
June 16- 1:00 am – 4:00 pm: plant medicine workshops and plant walks.
June 17- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Harvesting and nature walk in Tombstone Park (Tombstone Tuesday).
7:00 – 9:00 pm: medicine bag making with Margie Kormendy.
June 18- 1:00 am – 5:00 pm: Plant harvesting and medicine making, Itsu making with Donald Robert, plant crafts with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì’ team and spruce root harvesting with Faye Chamberlain.
7:00 – 9:00 pm: women’s health workshop with Fran Morberg-Green.
June 19- Camp pack up.
In addition:
🔥Evening sweats will be provided in collaboration with Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì team .
⚽️Childrens activities and support provided by CPNP and Ni’ehłyat Nidähjì team on Wednesday, June 18.
🍎A wellness tent and activities will be provided through the Dawson Community Health Centre.
