Red Dress Day is Monday, May 5.
Below is the schedule of events for the day:
10:00 – 10:15 am: Red Handprinting at K’äjit-in Zho (Youth House)
10:30 am: Opening Ceremony, lighting of Sacred Fire, opening prayer and smudge, opening Remarks and tobacco to sacred fire at DZCC
10:30 – 11:15 am: Walk begins at DZCC
11:15 am: Closing ceremony, closing remarks and closing prayer at Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Community Hall)
12:00 pm: Luncheon at Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Community Hall)
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Beaded Red Dress Earrings Workshop at CJJC
Everyone is invited to take part in the raising of awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirited + People.
